CUTTYHUNK ISLAND SUMMER HOUSE : CUTTYHUNK ISLAND

This is a complete gut renovation of a summer house on Cuttyhunk Island in Buzzards Bay. The house had a spectacular location and view, but had been neglected for many years and was in serious disrepair. In addition, the downstairs was a rabbit warren of rooms with no organization. Although renovated, many of the small bedrooms upstairs were maintained while the first floor was opened up to suit a more summer lifestyle. Only the secluded study at the north end of the house was kept isolated as a special reading and study room. Significant porches and decks were added to the east side to accommodate the view.
